McAllan Returns

Glasgow have moved to fill the problematical
second string berth vacated when Graham Jones retired by bringing David
McAllan back to Ashfield.
David was a popular member of the Tigers line up last
season but there was no place for him in this years line up. The 24
year old Scot has been riding at Conference League level with Boston
this season where he has attained a Conference League average of 8.06
Still a regular visitor to Glasgow this season he was
helping James Cockle in the pits last Sunday.
He is expected to slot in at number 2 initially although
in reality will probably struggle a little there. When Eric Carrillo
attains his average at the beginning of September David will almost
certainly be dropping down to the more realistic reserve berth.
The appointment unsurprisingly sees of the official
parting of the ways with on-loan Lee Dicken who was supposed to fill
the position temporarily but in all honesty proved a bit of a dud move
for the Tigers.
