Cockle Receives Suspended Ban

Glasgow's newest signing, 18 year old James Cockle, has been handed a four match ban suspended for 15 months following his involvement in a fracas whilst riding at Wimbledon for Boston on 4th August.

As its a suspended ban, it should not affect his riding at Glasgow unless he becomes involved in any other shenanigans meantime..

The following report is from the Daily Telegraph:-
'Wimbledon's Marc Norris has been banned for eight matches following a brawl involving fans, riders and mechanics.
His team mate James Clement received a two-match ban and Boston pair James Cockle (four matches) and Ritchie Dennis (two matches) have also been punished for their part in the incident
All the bans have been suspended for 15 months by the Speedway Control board after an investigation into the fracas.'.
