Its been reported on one of the Australian web lists that ex-Tiger Corey Blackman was injured whilst competing in the 2nd round of the Western Australia Solo Championship in Geraldton on Saturday night.

The accident happened in the 'A' final when Corey's brother Lee fell and Corey was unable to avoid him. Neither brother was able to continue and Corey was taken to hospital amid rumours of a possible break in his back.

Thankfully these have proved unfounded and Corey is 'only' suffering from a crushed vertebrae. It is reported that he hopes to have returned home today for a period of rest and recuperation.
