Or should it be 'Who'd Be A Promoter'? With 2004 fast disappearing, the options for the remaining two berths for 2005 also appear to be going the same way.

There is no doubt our promotion have been thwarted in a couple of their attempts to complete the team and they will have other options that are being looked at - who knows, they may still surprise us all and announce the final two signings for Christmas in the true spirit of Santa Claus.

There are 10.71 points remaining, so who can we expect to be competing for the final places? Its made more difficult for the supporters to guess as some riders have been snapped up by clubs but not yet announced - Reading admit they have 6 riders signed but want to announce all seven at once.

Looking only at riders from last years premier league, the list below shows eligible riders not yet named in a 1-7 who could fit. Some will already have made arrangements elsewhere, some will be non-starters for other reasons. There may well be a foreign option or two that can be considered on a 4 or 5 point average not to mention potential riders dropping down from the Elite League although these will tend to be riders who have failed to score at Elite league level on a consistent basis. there are also Conference riders who may be ready to step up to consider.

The list is only my take on riders available and averages so may not be 100% correct. Still think this promotion lark is easy?

The only definite is that whoever the promotion choose for the remaining berths they will get 100% backing from the Tigers fans when tapes go up.
