Tough Task for Tigers
Posted 20/07/04

Glasgow face a daunting task at Craven Park this Wednesday as they face Championship favourites Hull.

The Hull track is renowned this season as very much a gaters track so Glasgow will be hoping that George Stancl and Shane Parker have their gating boots on as passing opportunities appear few and far between.

Of course Glasgow have the psychological boost of having beaten Hull on their own turf at the beginning of the season but this weeks meeting is likely to be a very different affair.

Lee Dicken will be back and riding on his home track and hopefully he will score a few points this time. It will be Eric Carrillo's first visit to the track so it is difficult to guage how he will ride although as a decent gater he should adapt quite quickly. Paul Bentley is known to like the Craven Park circuit.

Corey Blackman will not be riding tonight and is still considering his future. At the moment I am not aware of who his replacement will be.

Overall, a home win but hopefully Glasgow can keep it close enough to claim the bonus point in the return leg next month.
