Shane and George Go Elite

Glasgow top two Shane Parker and George Stancl stepped in tonight to help Arena Essex out in their long drawn out meeting at Ipswich.

Arena were using the Glasgow pair as guests for Larson and Tatum who were out injured with Ulrich Ostergaard guesting at reserve for the injured Paul Hurry as well as operating rider replacement.

Both scored very respectably with Shane getting 10+1(6) and George 5+3 (6). Both took six rides after another two Arena riders-Loram and Barker-withdrew injured during the meeting which threatened to run on for ever with much track re-grading and many falls during the course of the evening.

Lets just hope the late finish-the meeting finished at one minute past eleven!-doesn't effect the pair for this weekends meeting.
