Parker and Stancl Chase

As the top two Tigers, Shane Parker and George Stancl will represent Glasgow in the Premier League Chase at Kings Lynn this Wednesday.

Although it is the top two riders from each team who are invited, it is in fact an individual event and a fairly ruthless one at that.

The first 8 heats will see the rider finishing last eliminated, so of the 32 rider field 8 will only have one race. From then on, the bottom two in each heat will be eliminated with winner taking all in the final.

As home team, Kings Lynn have four riders in the tournament and Topinka is bound to be one of the favourites. As an ex-Kings Lynn rider, many also fancy Shane to do well and you can't write off the likes of Lyons, Zagar, Watson and Stonehewer.
