Vikings Want Sanchez

Hull Vikings are set to launch a bid to buy
Emiliano Sanchez from Glasgow Tigers this week.
Vikings owner Paul Hodder has made no secret of the
fact that Poty is high up on their 'wanted' list for 2005 and has stated
that he will approach the Tigers promotion at the BSPA conference with
a view to doing a deal.
However, rather than loan deal, he would rather buy
Sanchez and have him ride as a Hull asset. he is quoted as saying that
with the club being on a secure footing they see it as an ideal time
to further strengthen their asset base.
Whether Glasgow will be as keen remains to be seen
as the Glasgow asset base is hardly extensive at the moment and Poty
will surely still be seen as part of the future at Glasgow. He is one
of only three Tigers assets who come into the category of riders who
could realistically ride in the Premier League next year.
