Possible Classic Changes

It looks as though one of the favourites for tomorrows Ashfield Classic, Simon Stead, will not be racing after all due to injury.

It should be stressed that nothing concrete has been heard so this may still be wrong but Simon is not riding in Workingtons young shield quarter final at Brough Park this evening against Kings Lynn.

It therefore seems unlikely that he will be at Ashfield tomorrow possibly making the event even more open.

The other change rumoured this week so far sees the withdrawal of Michael Coles to be replaced by, ironically, Workingtons Rusty Harrison.

Both withdrawals have still to be confirmed but even so it is still an attractive field and hopefully there will be a large turn out for what should be a good close meeting.
