Campbell Retires?

Its reported in this weeks Speedway Star that Barry Campbell is almost certain to retire at the end of this season.

Barry has suffered some horrendous injuries in his time racing and is worried that another smash will wreck his chance of a career in music.

He currently plays bass guitar with Glasgow based group The P45's who were due to play in the Glasgow final of the East meets West Festival at the Barfly Club last night.

Should the band do well, Barry definately does not intend to return to speedway after the winter and he has already turned down the chance to ride in tonights meeting at Armadale.
