First 2005 Signings Announced

At the successful end of season supporters club dance on Saturday evening, the first signings of the 2005 season for the Tigers were announced.

As had been hoped, Captain Shane Parker confirmed that he had reached agreement with the Glasgow promotion and signed his contract for 2005 in front of the fans.

The second signing announced is one for the future. Young James McBain, easily recognisable wearing his white kevlars in second halves at Ashfield, has agreed to sign as a Glasgow asset.

James has come in immensely over the last 12 months and made a few appearances for the Dale Devils. He showed just how much he has come on in the recent Heathersfield open scoring an impressive 8 points against riders who were mostly older than him and with far more experience. James should prove a good asset for the Tigers and shows that the club is still looking towards the future.
