David Nix Memorial Meeting

Although not Glasgow related, it is a shame that the bad weather has caused the re-scheduling of the Laurels Individual meeting as it now clashes with another important event in the Conference League calendar, the David Nix Memorial at Kings Lynn.

David was killed riding CL at Kings Lynn in May 2002 at the age of 25 and it is a stark reminder of the dangers involved in the sport.

Following his death his family set up the Memorial fund to allow this meeting to take place each year for Conference League riders with all proceeds going to charity.
