Sheffield Appearance for George

Sheffield Tigers have again turned to the real Tigers for a guest to ride in place of the injured Sean Wilson this Thursday.

He may not be riding in the PLRC at the weekend, but Sheffield have invited George Stancl to take over the number 1 race jacket in their meeting with Isle if Wight at Owlerton.

Given George's recent hot form it is no surprise that Sheffield requested his services. Although Sheffield and Isle of Wight have already qualified for the final stages of the Young Shield, they will both be looking to finish as far up the table as possible and it should be a close meeting.

No doubt George will relish the occassion and has the added security that he is on the same side as Andre Compton!
