Stancl Top Scores for Newcastle

George Stancl was called in at the last minute today to be Newcastle's THIRD guest in their team to face Berwick at Shielfield tonight.

Although Newcastle lost, George posted another impressive score with 18 from 6 rides including one 6 point tactical ride. He was, according to a Berwick fan, really flying and posted the fastest time of the night in heat 4.

George was riding in place of Newcastle's representative in this weekends PLRC, Jason Lyons, who sustained an unknown injury in Sweden on Tuesday and is rated as doubtfull for the PLRC-something to bear in mind when placing those bets.

Well done George on another excellent nights scoring. Hopefully racing three nights on the trot will NOT effect George for Friday night at Armadale.
