Attempt to Re-sign McAllan Thwarted

The BSPA have blocked Boston Barracuda Braves attempt to re-sign Glasgow reserve David McAllan for the remainder of the season.

The Braves had hoped that, as Glasgow's league season was complete, the BSPA would look favourably on their request to allow David to resume racing at the Norfolk Arena following an injury to Richie Dennis.

However the governing body decreed that David remained in the Glasgow declared 1-7 until the 31st October and was therefore ineligible. Unless another option can be found Boston will therefore have to operate rider replacement.
