Cockle in Young Guns

Following on from a gutsy display for the Tigers down at the County Ground earlier this month, James Cockle has been named as one of 12 hopefuls competing for the Exeter Young Guns title on Monday night.

With the future of the County Ground and Exeter's new track still undecided there is a possibility that this meeting could be the last ever at the infamous County Ground track.

James rode well in his last visit and although there is some tough CL opposition he should hopefully be challenging.

Riders expected to be riding include Exeter's Nick Simmons who must surely be the favourite along with Somerset's Simon Walker and younger brother of the PLRC winner Benji Compton. Provisional line up is: -

1.Nick Simmons, 2. Simon Walker, 3. Lee Smart, 4. TBC, 5. Matt Cambridge, 6. Chris Courage, 7. Jamie Courtney, 8. TBC, 9. Benji Compton, 10. Karlis Ezergailis, 11. Andrew Jackson, 12. James Cockle.
