With only three days until this event is due to be held at Ashfield, there is still an alarming lack of information as to the format and names of the riders taking part.

From various different places on the web it appears that the qualification for this junior event is that the rider has to be under 25 although this is just assumption at this stage.

Presuamably our own Glasgow based youngsters will be riding - Gary Beaton, Adam McKinna, Ciaran Morris, James McBain, John McPhail and Colin McDonald. Other names that are being mentioned include regular visitor Kris Irving, Keith Maben, Sean Stoddart, Andrew Tully and Mike Mitchell.

With 8 of the 13 Conference League teams riding on Sunday - including James Cockle's Boston - it is difficult to predict what other riders may be in the event at this stage.

To encourage people to go along Glasgow really need to publicise the format and field involved in this meeting as soon as possible. Hopefully there will be a decent turn out as these youngsters are the future of British speedway and who knows there may even be a potential 3 point rider for next season or the following season in there.
