2004
Glasgow Scoring Record
Correy came to speedway very late, only getting on a bike in 1999 at
the ripe old age of 23! He had previously had some involvement, being
mechanic for Duke Ermolenko.
Deciding to give it a go, Corey came over to the UK in 2001 in the
hope of getting somewhere but with no real plans. His early time was
spent around Sheffield training track but he soon picked up a CL place
with Carmarthen.
A year later Corey was riding PL with Exeter and his flamboyant nature
made him very popular amongst the Exeter fans.
Although not one of the first choices, Corey was given the opportunity
to ride for Glasgow this season at reserve and gladly accepted. His
madcap nature will certainly make the pits an entertaining place although
whether he has what it takes to succeed or even break even at this level
remains to be seen.
Sadly things have not gone well for Corey at Glasgow, he has struggled
to score point and the final blow came with an arson attack on his van
as he was visiting a friend in Glasgow. Corey has now left the tigers
and returned down south where he is riding once more at Conference League
level for Weymouth..
