George is the third generation of his family to ride speedway - his father is arguably one of Czechoslovakia's best ever riders. He has been riding since he was four years old and first rode in the UK for Sheffield in 1994.George joined Glasgow in 2003 and had an immediate impact as team captain, a position he held until June this year. An excellent gater, his tidy style is good to watch.
He currently wears te No 1 race jacket in the Tigers line up.
