2004
Glasgow Scoring Record
Surprisingly James didn't start riding until he was 15 but is well known
to both Scottish sides especially after his decision in 2000 to switch
from Edinburgh back to his native Glasgow in contraversial circumstances.
He rode for Glasgow in the top league in 95, staying there with Wolverhampton
for a further 3 years.
Possibly an under achiever given early promise(3rd in the 1994 British
U-21 final), James is definately a potential match winner on his current
average. A definate asset at home James does however struggle on some
of the bigger away tracks.
He has benefitted in the last 2 years from the doubling up facility
allowing him to ride Elite league as well.
A very popular rider amongst the fans and a Tigers fan himself, James
can be quite aggresive in style and is never short on effort. Hopefully
his interest in amateur boxing will be kept a bit more remote from his
speedway this season though!
