Glasgow Website has confirmed the replacements for James Cockle
at Hull and Sheffield this week.
Danny Norton will guest on Wednesday night at Craven
Park. Danny is familiar with the Craven Park circuit having ridden
5 meetings for Hull last season and is probably the best 3 point replacement
the promotion could have gone for in the circumstances. Danny is with
Scunthorpe this season.
For Thursday's tie at Sheffield the promotion have
again gone with a rider who knows the track, drafting in Mark Thompson.
Mark as most will remember rode for Glasgow before James Cockle was
signed last season before unfortunately suffering a broken wrist in
the meeting with Reading. Mark is riding with Mildenhall in this season's
Conference League.
A preview for the Hull meeting will follow later
this evening and a preview for the Sheffield meeting will be on line
in due course.
