Shane Rides Friday

Glasgow start a run today of four meetings in five days but for one of the Tigers team it will be five days on a trot as Shane Parker takes to the track on Friday at Leigh Lanham's testimonial meeting.

It is the third attempt at running Leigh's testimonial meeting, the previous two being thwarted by the weather at the end of last season.

The meeting is a 12 rider 12 heat format and although some of the original field have changed it is still a competitive line-up. The riders taking part are Craig Boyce, Shane Parker, Chris Louis, Brent Werner, Josh Larsen, Paul Hurry, Dave Norris, Roman Povazhny, Adam Shields, Gary Havelock, Kelvin Tatum and of course Leigh Lanham.
