Stoke Meeting Postponed

Glasgow fell victim to the weather for the first time at Ashfield this season when this afternoons meeting with Stoke was postponed.

Although it had been dry all morning the heavens opened just before 2p.m. and showed no sign of relenting. It was no surprise that the meeting was called off less than half an hour later.

It probably benefits Stoke more than Glasgow as they will be hoping that by the time the meeting is re-staged Peter Carr will have settled into his new role and they may even have Staechmann back.

No date has been set as yet for the re-run of this meeting.
