Individual Tigers in Action on Thursday
Posted 27/04/05

Two current Glasgow riders plus a Glasgow asset will be in action tomorrow night (Thursday).

As was announced on Sunday, James Birkinshaw was booked by Workington to ride as a guest in the reserve slot in place of the injured James Wright at Sheffield. Despite the broken toes he now has as a result of his fall on Sunday, James is still expected to ride at his old home track. As a Sheffield specialist he will no doubt be hoping to rack up the points, especially from the reserve berth.

Our other James, Mr Cockle, is also scheduled to ride. He is expected to take his place in the Sittingbourne line up at Oxford alongside Glasgow asset David McAllan. David rode his first competitive meeting for Sittingbourne in the draw with Oxford down in Kent on Sunday and has already established himself as a favourite with the fans. For James it will be his second meeting in two days and his first official fixture for Sittingbourne although he has already starred for them in a challenge meeting at Weymouth.

Good Luck to all three riders for Thursday night.
