Half Challenge - Sunday?

Middlesboro Bears are advertising on their
website that there will be a second half challenge on Sunday at
Ashfield after the Glasgow v Newcastle meeting.
The meeting will probably take the format of four
man six heat challenge although at this stage there is no indication
of the teams - Adam McKinna and Gary Beaton both ride for the Bears
as well as Ashfield.
Middlesboro are still nomads as they have no home
track but have 'based' themselves at Newcastle this season, following
the demise of the Newcastle Gems. The previous two seasons they have
been based at Hull.
The Bears have ridden three of these meetings so
far this season plus a full meeting at Scunthorpe and all have been
reported as being entertaining affairs. Assuming it goes ahead, it's
a good chance to stay behind and watch some of the riders hoping to
break into the sport in the next year or two and lend your support.
The meeting is advertised as being for the Clyde
Tees Trophy
