Fixture
Update
Posted 09/08/05
The fixture picture for the Tigers over
the next few weeks was updated from the centre green during Sundays
meeting.
The main change that will affect the tigers fans is the agreement
between Edinburgh and Glasgow to reschedule the league meeting between
the two previously due to be raced on 19th August. This meeting will
now take place at a date to be confirmed.
This change suited both clubs as it allows Edinburgh now
to met Newcastle and gives Glasgow an additional days break in a busy
schedule.
The Kings Lynn meeting at the Norfolk Arena will take place
on 17th August, the only one of the three rescheduled dates offered
to Glasgow that was suitable due to rider availability.
Glasgow will now be racing Kings Lynn 17th, PL Fours on the
20th, Kings Lynn at home on the 21st and Reading on the 22nd hence
the reason that re-scheduling the derby meeting suited the Tigers.
In addition the re-scheduled dates for Isle of Wight away
(13th September) and Hull away (14th September) were also announced.
Although Tuesday is one of the normal Swedish race nights, there does
not appear to be a Swedish race card on the 13th September so Stefan
Ekberg should hopefully be available for this meeting.
