Adam answered any doubts about his fitness after last weeks accident by posting an 18 point paid maximum for Boston tonight.

Riding at reserve he was always going to score well in this meeting, his score being made up of three wins and three paid wins.

James Cockle was also part of this evenings Boston team although riding at the far more difficult number 1 position. James scored a respectable 8 points from his four rides as Boston went on to beat Stoke Spitfires by 59 points to 35.

The second leg of the tie is on Sunday so obviously Adam and James will not be taking part.
