Announce First Signings

Stewart Dickson announced the first two
signings for Glasgow for 2006 at this evenings Question and Answer
session at Ashfield.
Other comments made at the meeting will appear later in a
separate article but Stewart was able to confirm that David McAllan
was Glasgow's first signing, agreeing terms yesterday afternoon and
will probably be in the main body of the team although this has still
to be confirmed.
This was closely followed by the signing today of James Cockle
as a B Grade reserve rider. James has decided however that he will
not be moving to Glasgow but still travelling from his base in Cambridgeshire
as he also has employment down there.
Both riders are obviously Glasgow assets but Stewart also
confirmed that Glasgow would still track the best team they could
possibly afford and that there would be an out and out number 1.
