As widely expected, and as reported in yesterdays
Scottish Press, Adam Roynon has been announced as the fourth member
of the Tigers team for 2006.
Adam was an instant hit with Tigers fans last season and
undoubtedly has a lot of talent. He suffered a premature end to his
2005 season after two bad accidents in quick succession and still
has to undergo surgery to remove pins and plates from his arm as a
result of the one that finished his season.
However, in spite of some inaccurate and ill informed speculation
on internet forums, he is expected to be fit for the start of the
season and his spell in the side last season showed that he has undoubtedly
got the ability to succeed.
With Adam and James at reserve and Shane in the side to mentor
them Glasgow certainly seem to have a very attractive reserve pairing.
