C at Sittingbourne

With the start of the season
only a month away, riders are now getting themselves some track practice
at various different venues Sittingbourne Speedway have kindly allowed
me to post the following pictures of James Cockle taken at the Nathan
Gaymer Memorial Meeting two weeks ago.
James did manage to make the final of the meeting
but came off whilst leading on the second lap due to what was diagnosed
as a crazy hand injury. The combination of the wind chill factor,
a hot cup of tea prior to the final and a hole in his glove apparently
caused James' hand to freeze and seize during the race.
