GB Championship

While Glasgow were taking on Somerset, David McAllan was taking his place in the line up for the Championship of GB at Oxford.

Although up against some of the best riders in the country David gave a good showing and was competitive, beating the likes of Louis Havelock and Howe in the heats, albeit with the help of bike trouble with Louis.

He had a fair following at Oxford shouting him on and seemed to enjoy the whole experience.

The overall meeting was won by Coventry's Scott Nicholls.
