Island Meeting Rained Off

This evening's meeting at the Isle of Wight has fallen victim to the persistant rain falling in that part of the country, the decision to call it off being taken just after 3pm.

As yet there is no date been announced for the rescheduling of this meeting but it may well be on the Islanders 'off night' as they already have a fixture back log due to previous postponements.

Given the past couple of days results, the postponement is possibly a good thing for the riders as confidence must be low and it will give time for them to work on their equipment and fitness before next Sundays meeting against Rye House.
