Just Misses Out on Chase

Shane Parker was unlucky tonight to miss
out on the Premier Chase title at Kings Lynn.
He had dominated throughout the heats and semi final, and
went into the final as the only unbeaten rider on the night. However
at the last hurdle things didn't quite go to plan for Glasgow's captain
and he came in last in the final with Somersets Magnus Zetterstrom
claiming the victory when it counted after passing Neath on the third
lap.
It was still an excellent effort from Shane and hopefully
signals that Mondays bike problems are behind him.
Glasgow's other representative, George Stancl, went out at
the first stage when he retired at the back.
