Glasgow Rider Accepts Welsh Open Invite

For those travelling down to Wales for the Newport meeting and Grand Prix weekend later this month, there will be a Glasgow rider in the Welsh Open meeting being held at Newport on the Sunday.

George Stancl has been named as one of the 12 riders who have so far confirmed that they will be taking part, Glasgow asset Henning Bager being amongst the competition. It is a 16 rider event with a 20 heat format and winner takes all final.

With four riders still to confirm, the field so far is:-

George Stancl, Henning Bager, Rusty Harrison, Mark Lemon, Niels Kristian Iversen, Adam Shields, Henka Gustafsson, Leigh Lanham, Magnus Zetterstrom, Mads Korneliussen, Andy Smith and Ronnie Correy.
