Smith Guests for Sheffield

Sheffield have this morning confirmed that Sean Wilson will not be riding at Owlerton tonight but will be replaced by guest Scott Smith from Berwick.

Smith knows Owlerton well, being his local track. He rode for Sheffield for seven years and when he got the call from Berwick earlier this season after almost a season out of the sport, it was the Sheffield track he used to get back in shape.

He did not perhaps do as well as expected on his last visit to Owlerton with Berwick but it was only his second meeting. He could prove to be a formidable opponent thanks to track knowledge.
