Shane to the Rescue

Shane Parker has become the recent hero of youngsters Chris Kerr and Brian Yarrow after stepping in to help them out this week.

The young Americans are heading to Lonigo in Italy where Chris Kerr is due to ride in this Saturday's World U-21 semi-final. They had originally hoped to share transport with Sheffield's Richard Hall, however Hall is currently injured and it will not be known until the last minute if he will be travelling.

As a result, the youngsters had to try and find transport to Italy at relatively short notice. With his enforced break after breaking his collar bone last Friday, Shane has stepped in to the breach to lend the lads his van for the trip.
