Slany Hope Stancl Will Ride

Following on from George Stancl's spill at Newport on Sunday, Slany stated in yesterday's Czech press that they expect George to be fit to line up in their Extraleague meeting this evening.

George is named in their squad for the fourth round Extraleague meeting at his home track. After three rounds Slany currently lie third out of four but the other clubs have all ridden a home meeting.

Assuming their hopes are realised this will be a relief to the Glasgow fans who have been concerned that the heavy knock George took on Sunday might have had an effect on this Thursdays Tigers team.
