Trent Rides at Berwick

Newport have not had much luck on their northern tour but Glasgow's Trent Leverington hopes to help them change that as he guests for them at Berwick this evening.

Trent has answered the late call to ride as a guest for the wasps in the number 5 race jacket, covering for long term injury victim Craig Watson.

He will be hoping for better luck than the guest Newport used last night - Carl Stonehewer crashed out in his first race and withdrew from the meeting.

It is a lot to ask of the young second string rider to ride at number 5, his last visit saw him score 8 from 6 rides in the reserve berth.
