After all the speculation of the last few
days, Tigers have now been able to confirm the signing of exciting
young Dane Leon Madsen.
He is unlikely to live up to his assessed average initially
and will need time to settle, but this signing is an excellent one
for the future of the Tigers.
Although only 16, Leon has been attracting a lot of attention
with his displays in Denmark this season and has claimed the scalp
of many more experienced riders whilst riding for Slangerup. He recently
top scored for Denmark in an U21 test against Sweden.
It has not always been easy for the youngster who missed
most of last season after breaking his neck.
It's understood that there were other clubs, including at
least one Elite League club, who were interested in the young Dane.

Tiger by an exiled fan who knows him and it makes encouraging
reading. Obviously it means that the promotion will also be bringing
in a new reserve before the next meeting at Hull where Leon will make
his Tigers debut.
