McAllan and Grieves in GB Championship Final
Posted 23/06/05

It has this morning been confirmed that Glasgow asset David McAllan and former Tigers Favourite James Grieves will be in the Final of the British Championships at Oxford on 10th July.

Both had taken part in the recently abandoned qualifier at Newcastle - their second attempt to run the meeting - and in view of time constraints the BSPA have rules that as each rider taking part had completed two races the result would stand.

At the time David was tied for the lead with a win and a second place to his credit whilst James was right behind after a win and a third place.

For David in particular this is a major unexpected boost to his season as he was only a last minute replacement for the qualifier, standing in for the injured Kevin Little.

We wish both young Scots all the best for the day.
