Tomorrows Visitors Boosted by Victory

Berwick head to Ashfield tomorrow buoyed by a 55-39 victory at home to local rivals Newcastle. From a Glasgow point of view however it could be argued that the victory was perhaps not as worrying for tomorrow as the score suggests.

Opponents Newcastle suffered FOUR fallers during the meeting and two exclusions with Morris and Henry both withdrawn from the meeting through injury.

Cartwright and Kugelmann struggled for the Bandits, the later looking unfit whilst Dym did considerably better than previously. Other than that, performances were as expected and Glasgow should feel confident going into tomorrows meeting.

Remember that tomorrow will be a 4pm tapes up due to the football.
