It was announced during yesterdays meeting
at Ashfield that there is some uncertainty over James Cockle's four
meeting ban.
With last Friday's Spring Trophy second leg being
postponed, it seems unlikely that this meeting-when restaged-would
count as one of his four meetings although not impossible and the
Glasgow promotion are currently seeking clarification on this.
In addition, if the ban is to run by consecutive
staged meetings, another question is brought to the fore as James's
CL club Sittingbourne are due to ride in a meeting against the Dream
Team USA on Saturday 26th March and it needs to be clarified as to
whether this meeting will count towards James's ban, which could allow
him to ride against Workington next Sunday.
