This weeks Speedway Start is a bumper issue
which is not in the normal format but instead focuses on previews
of every club together with predictions of who will finish where in
the 2005 league programme.
Predictions are made by each clubs correspondent
on finishing positions with the final prediction being based on the
cumulative data. Most of it appears unbiased although you have to
wonder at Newcastle predicting themselves to finish second and a bottom
three of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Berwick!
The full prediction for the Premier League for 2005
looks quite accurate at the top but the bottom might cause a bit of
