Winning CL Start for Gary and James

Gary Beaton and James McBain started their CL season as part of the Dale Devils side who beat Buxton Hitmen at Armadale today.

The Devils ran out comfortable winners by 54 points to 41.

Gary scored a creditable 5+2 from his four rides which included an exclusion. In a busy weekend, he is expected to be riding again tomorrow (Sunday) although it still remains to be seen whether it will be for the Tigers or for the Boro Bears.

James scored as expected, obtaining 1 point from his 3 rides at the expense of Joe Reynolds in heat 2. He will possibly be disappointed not to have repeated the score when the two came up against each other again in heat 7 with Reynolds claiming the point that time.
