Cockle Injury Update

It has been reported on the Official Glasgow Website that James Cockle suffered a broken rib in the heat 7 crash during yesterdays meeting with Workington.

The injury will rule James out of his U21 qualifying meeting at Weymouth this evening but it is reported that in typical fashion he is hoping to be fit to ride for the Tigers in Fridays derby meeting at Armadale.

It is almost a relief after such a terrible looking crash that James's injuries were not as bad as some early reports on various message boards were implying and again credit should be given to Kauko Nieminen for his attempts to avoid the Glasgow youngster.
