Glasgow Asset Loses CL Place

The Glasgow asset that no-one seems to remember is one of those affected by last weeks announcement that Carmarthen Dragons will not run in 2005.

Steven Jones rode for Carmarthen Dragons last season after moving to the area and was one of a few riders hoping to ride there again in 2005.

Unfortunately this will not now happen following the Carmarthen Showground Committee's decision at the end of last week that speedway did not fit in with what they see as the future of the Showground site, leaving the Welsh side with no option other than closure at least for the time being.
