Edinburgh Use Courtney on Friday

Edinburgh have announced that Jamie Courtney will ride at reserve for them in the meeting against Glasgow on Friday.

Jamie's family are well known in speedway and in particular at Glasgow, his father being Mark and Uncle Sean.

Jamie has been riding for Oxford's Academy this season in the Conference and has been scoring well. He top scored in their most recent away meeting at Sittingbourne and followed that up with 13(5) followed by 11(4) in a double header last Thursday. In the final meeting he came up against Glasgow reserve James Cockle twice, each of them claiming one victory.

He has ridden Armadale a few times at Conference League level.
