James Cockle and David McAllan both scored
heavily as Armadale narrowly beat their Sittingbourne side at Armadale
today.
The final score in a meeting which
went to a last heat decider was 47-45 to the Devils with James and
David scoring the majority of the Sittingbourne points.
David recorded a flawless 6 ride
maximum whilst James returned 14+1 from 6 including a TR and a fall
whilst leading.
There were also two Tigers assets
in the winning team. Gary Beaton scored a handy 7+2 from 4 with McAllan
and Cockle the only opposition riders to beat him. It was not such
a good day for young James McBain, however. After a heavy second half
fall at Armadale last night which looked to have wrecked his machinery,
he failed to score for the Devils and was actually a non finisher
in two of his three rides.
