McAllan's Day Cut Short

Whilst Glasgow were racing Exeter, David McAllan was on duty with Sittingbourne at Scunthorpe in a meeting that the weather got the better of.

David rode three times before the weather won the day, recording a first, a second and an engine failure whilst leading in his third. According to the report on the unofficial Sittingbourne site, David's chain snapped and 'clouted David nastily in the derriere'! The meeting was close at the time with the home side two points up.
