Berwick Team Change Announced for Sunday
Posted 20/05/05

Peter Waite has announced that Piotr Dym has been axed from the Berwick side in favour of Tom P Madsen, the interesting thing from Glasgow's point of view being that Madsen slots straight into the Berwick side from tomorrow(Saturday) night.

Given the three day rule, this presumably means that the change was registered with the BSPA by Wednesday morning and you have to wonder why Mr Waite chose not to announce it until now.

It also means that his claims that Berwick were being forced to ride at Glasgow with two conference league guests will be unfounded. It is understood that Adam Pietraszko will still be replaced by a conference league guest - unless of course it suddenly turns out he was also replaced earlier in the week, the change registered with the BSPA and everything kept quiet.

It was confirmed in the same press release that Kugelmann would be riding for Berwick for the foreseeable future.

Tom P Madsen returns to Berwick for the third time - ironically the last time he returned it was in place of our own Claus Kristensen.
